Announcing the first annual Venture Jobs Foundation’s Prosperity Conference to hear thought-provoking discussions on the power and potential of impact investing to drive regional job growth. National thought leaders and local change agents will converge in Rochester on May 25th to share strategies and lessons learned deploying capital in pursuit of local prosperity.
Produced in partnership with our colleagues at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the conference will show how leveraging assets within our reach can generate economic gains for the entire community.
As our keynote speaker Clara Miller of the Heron Foundation often asserts, “Poverty is structural, not marginal.” While Rochester has a healthy mix of agencies providing support for those dealing with the burdens of poverty, we lack sufficient mechanisms to spur regional small business job creation. This can change with our coordinated effort.
Join them at the first annual Prosperity Conference to learn how together we can build the impact investing ecosystem in Rochester!
