The Lower Falls Foundation is featured on the I Love NY’s Path Through History weekend, October 7-9.
Rochester was the home of Frederick Douglass and significant work done by other leaders in the Anti-Slavery Movement. This tour goes beyond the symbolic nature of the advocates for fairness. It explains the hard work and powerful stories of the people who defied laws and the cultural perceptions of those times to develop a system which was an integral part of the Underground Railroad to deliver fugitive individuals and families to freedom.
